On this past weekend (18th-19th June) the first leg of the prestigious RODOP Melges Tour series was successfully held at lake
'Lipno' in South Bohemia. Despite the unfavourable weather, all competitors stayed well tempered and fought until the last meters of

In the end, the team Aloha gained the first place; the second went to ICZ crew and a group of young sailors under the leadership of the raising Czech talent Pavel Bobek finished third. During the regatta the cooperation between all the crews was visibly improving and so we are all curious about the winner of the next regatta in August 2011. On this weekend six boats were competing towards the golden title. The wind strength was rather middle to strong and both the Friday and Saturday evenings were filled with many laughs and plenty of good food and drinks.
