Despite the small number of participants (4 boats), the ALT Melges 24 Cup 2011 could be definitely seen as a very successful event and a good training regatta for the upcoming Czech Championship. Considering the weather forecast predicting a very small wind only, the competitors got lucky and got to compete in 8 sunny and fairly windy rounds in the end. After the first day, the results were pretty close: ICZ: 9 points, Cautor, YC DIM and Bob & Bobci: 7 points. During the second day, the crew ICZ confirmed their placement and the other crews finished in the following order: 2nd YC DIM, 3rd Cautor and 4th Bob & Bobci.
